A group of year 7 students choose to create a series of rubix cubes that reveal key information for their inquiry project. This group of 3 boys had significant learning barriers, however the quality of their work was amazing & their focus was excellent!
A group of students created this display to showcase the 6 qualifying schools for the 2021 primary regional competition. The overall project saw these students taking initiative to research each group, interviewing performers, and contacting tutors.
A group of students choose to use Lego as a medium for presenting a model of the proposed Mana Kuratahi venue as part of an inquiry learning project.
Earlier this year my class focused on world peace leaders. We choose to research Bob Marley and the rastafari movement. We drew comparisons between Reggae & Maori culture, and linked these ideas to our overall philosophy in Te Huring Rūmaki Reo.
CLASSROOM DISPLAYS
Creating inviting and motivational learning environments is a passion of mine. I believe that children are more likely to be enthused and engaged in their learning when they are in an organised and stimulating environment.
Engaging work displays give students incentive to produce quality work, and teaches them to take pride in their presentations.
Here a few examples of classroom displays of mine from previous years.
